This past weekend, Sophie (leader of the KCC Adventure Team) and Lucy (honorary kitty and member of the KCC Adventure Team) attended the Annual Fall Festival at Lane Southern Orchards, a local peach orchard! Bobby’s band was playing at the pet-friendly event, and I just knew it would be something Sophie and Lucy would enjoy.
I would have loved to bring Kylo and Caster along as well, but since I was going to be managing the Team on my own, I knew it would be best to leave the boys at home. Plus, this wasn’t the kind of adventure Kylo really enjoys. He prefers more quiet, naturey adventures like hiking and canoeing. Large crowds and lots of commotion aren’t his thing. Sophie, on the other hand, loves it. Then again, she loves everything.
Anyway, we had a great time. There were lots of cute photo ops for Sophie and Lucy, and they enjoyed just hanging out and eating up all the attention that everyone was giving them!
What a fun outing for Sophie and Lucy! I don’t think I’ll ever get to see my human’s boyfriend play – his SoCal shows seem to always be indoors, and whether they are indoors or outdoors they are LOUD!
Sophie looks like a hardcore pumpkin checkers player. I don’t know if my fragile ego could handle losing to a cat. I mean, how could I explain it to my dog. 😉
what fun. was Sophie playing against herself in that checkers game?
Looks like that was quite to nifty adventure! Your photos are fabulous!
Sophie playing pumpkin checkers is just too adorable!

How could you not cheat your way through that maze when you can see over the walls?
The pumpkin checkers is a cute idea and you look adorable playing at the board.
My catness! You sure are a fun loving kitty, Sophie! Lucy Petcretary loves seeing your most soulful eyes! They’re deep…
