The KittiKubbi: Our New Favorite Cat Bed

If your cats are anything like mine, they LOVE finding cozy spots to cuddle up in for a nice cat nap. As each of our six cats have different preferences when it comes to beds, we have several different types scattered around the house. Usually, they each claim one as their “favorite,” and that’s the one they always go to. When the KittiKubbi arrived, however, things changed – there was a disturbance in the force, as some may say. Kylo Ren no longer had an interest in his usual “favorite” bed, nor did Caster or Sophie. They each wanted to claim the KittiKubbi as THEIRS!
A little while later…
Even later…
As you can clearly see, the gang has been enjoying their KittiKubbi. In fact, when I first opened it, I wasn’t ready to give it to the kitties yet, as I wanted to wait for a moment when I would be able to take photos. I put it on top of a dresser in our living room that the cats NEVER get on top of. It is my go-to place to put things I don’t want the cats to mess with. However, when I got home from work that day, I found the KittiKubbi on the floor with a Caster cat inside. He had knocked it off the dresser and made himself right at home!
The cats aren’t the only ones excited about the KittiKubbi though. I really love it too! For one, it’s super cute. I am a fan of bright colors, so the teal flower design goes perfectly in our home. I also think it’s really neat that each bed is hand-crafted from 100% all-natural wool by artisans in Nepal. They are made with an ancient fabrication technique called felting, in which each bed is individually molded using only soap, water, and pressure. They are free from harsh chemicals and synthetic fabrics, and are safe and non-toxic to the kitties and the environment. The wool is also a breathable material, meaning it will keep the kitties warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
One of my favorite features of the KittiKubbi is that the wool material naturally repels odor, dirt, and stains so that it only needs occasional cleaning. Just a heads up though – it cannot be thrown into the washing machine, as it will lose its shaping. It can, however, be vacuumed, hand-washed using cool water and a soft sponge, or even dry-cleaned.
Pretty cool cat bed, huh? We sure think so! We may even have to look into getting more than one 🙂 If you’d like to have one of your own (which we know you do!), you can purchase one through Amazon. We are also hosting a giveaway right now for one too, so head on over to our 3rd Blogoversary post and enter to win one in the teal flower design (like the one we have)!

Honestly the first time I saw this bed I thought that it just might be the ONLY little private bed I’d EVER use………..it’s just made for an old guy like me to curl up in and be left alone when he needs it. I’m an only cat here so no fighting for space – it would be MINE MINE MINE! Love the colors of this one too – its’ so cool that it’s all natural as well and HANDMADE!
Hugs, Sammy
