Welcome to Kitty Cat Chronicles!
Hello, and welcome to the Kitty Cat Chronicles! It just recently hit me that starting a blog about life with my three crazy cats might be something that could be entertaining and even helpful to someone else. Looking back, I should have started this blog long before now. I got Delilah (my first fur baby) about a year and a half ago, and it’s been a non-stop “feline frenzy” since then. My husband and I get so much enjoyment from watching and playing with our kitties, and we’ve also learned a lot from them. Why not share our laughs and funny anecdotes with others? I should warn you though – I don’t claim to be a writer or expert story teller of any kind. I’m also not a cat expert or veterinarian, so any advice or information I post on this website should not be taken as professional advice – just my own thoughts and opinions. This is just meant to be a fun project! 🙂
Still interested? Then read on! And meet the gang while you’re at it!
Having three cats, two of which have disabilities, makes for an interesting ride. Bobby and I are constantly learning about what we can do to make things easier for Delilah (our bad knees kitty) and Sophie (our CH kitty). As for Sampson, well we just do our best to keep him in line 🙂 There is a lot of information out on the web about animals and pets with disabilities and how to properly care for them, but it never hurts to have another source – a first hand, personal account. I hope that by sharing the different things that we have found helpful in caring for our two special needs kitties that I can help even just one other person with their special needs kitty.
I’ve also recently gotten into feline nutrition. When I first got Delilah, I did a lot of reading and research about a proper feline diet. My findings led me to feed a 100% wet food diet. However, with the addition of Sophie and her accompanying food allergies, I have done even more research into the topic and am going to be making the transition to a raw meat diet for all three of our cats. That should be an interesting process, and I hope that by sharing my journey, I can shed some insights onto the subject for others who might be interested in doing the same.
So if you’re interested in following the chronicles of my kitty cats, subscribe, strap yourself in, and get ready for some laughs – they can be pretty hilarious 🙂
P.S. I welcome and encourage any feedback, comments, or questions anyone may have, as long as they’re friendly.
