Last weekend, Bobby and I took Kylo Ren out for an afternoon adventure to Tattnall Square Park. They had had a sidewalk chalk art competition earlier in the day, so we wanted to check things out. I was expecting a lot of children’s chalk art, which there was a lot of, but there were also a few really amazing drawings! I couldn’t believe they were done with chalk.
After admiring the art, Kylo decided that he was in the mood for a laid-back afternoon rather than a get-up-and-go adventure. We followed his lead and enjoyed some peaceful sitting and watching as we took in the beautiful day and enjoyed our surroundings.
Afterwards, Bobby needed to stop by Hobby Lobby to get some paintbrushes. One our way over there, I checked to see if they are pet-friendly. Indeed they are! So Kylo got to explore Hobby Lobby a bit.
It was really a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. We wish it could be Spring year-round!
