Happy Valentine’s… I mean, Kylo Ren Day!

Yes, today is Valentine’s Day, but more importantly… IT’S KYLO REN’S BIRTHDAY!!!

As Supreme Leader of the First Order (and the galaxy), Kylo Ren has declared that Valentine’s Day is out and Kylo Ren Day is in!

In recognition of Kylo Ren Day, everyone must bow to Kylo’s demands. That means we will be having a catnip party later, and there will also be a planet-conquering hike at some point this weekend. All fine by me!

Seriously though, today is one my favorite days of the year. Not because of Valentine’s Day. I’ve never really been big into that. But 4 years ago, Bobby surprised me with the best Valentine’s gift ever. He went to the CVS down the street to pick out a cat-themed Valentine’s Day card for me, and as he was browsing the cards, he decided to get me a REAL Valentine’s Day Cat instead. So he went to PetSmart where our favorite rescue holds adoptions every weekend and came home with Kylo Ren. It was truly the best surprise ever.

Supreme Leader Kylo Ren would never want me to tell you this, but he is a HUGE Momma’s Boy. If I sit down anywhere, it won’t be long before he jumps up in my lap. He loves for me to dote on him with pets and praise, and he loves it when I pick his eye boogers (weird, I know). He just loves any and all attention I give him.

He won’t tolerate pets from anyone else though. He will sit in Bobby’s lap and even sleep with him sometimes. But if Bobby touches him, 98% of the time, Kylo will leave. Bobby gets a bit jealous, but I just tell him that Kylo knows he’s MY kitty! 😉
