Where’s Jubilee? — A Sugar Glider Selfie
Look closely… along with me, there is a sugar glider in today’s selfie. Can you find him?
After Friday’s post picturing Sophie watching Glider TV, a few of you commented that you wished there were video or said you wondered what Glider TV must be like as you’ve never seen it before. Well, here is a little taste —

Beyond adorable, right?!
Jubilee and Sydney the Sugar Gliders are doing very well and are bonding with me more and more every day. They will now let me pick them up, and they have discovered that my hair makes a great nesting spot. I was recently feeling as though the bonding process had plateaued, but this last week I had a big breakthrough with them – they both voluntarily got inside my shirt and burrowed in for a nap. I have admittedly gotten frustrated and impatient a few times during this whole bonding process, but I just have to keep reminding myself that it can take up to a year or more for sugar gliders to fully bond with their humans, and we just hit the two month mark last week. I think we are doing pretty well 🙂
Oh, and if you didn’t find Jubie in the selfie photo up above, I’ve pointed him out for you below…

Oh wow, they are the sweetest little things! I wish we had sugar glider TV here… but my human says they are a serious commitment and she can’t get them just because I want to watch them.
What cuties!
I had to biggify picture to find Jubilee 🙂 He blended in your hair very well!
I enjoyed watching the videos. So much fun to see them in action. The wheel video made me feel a bit dizzy even though it was in slow motion 🙂 Just in two months, sounds like you’ve bonded very nicely. I’m sure you’ll make more and more progress in bonding!
Yay ! We had found Jubilee ! We enjoyed the videos, it’s so cute to see them playing and running. It looks like you’ve already bonded very well. Purrs
They are just as cute as can be!!!
They are very cute!
They are so adorable. The videos are so cute!
They’re so cute!
That is too cute with the pom poms like the balls kids play in. I didn’t see a glider in the selfie until the end where you showed us. They look like a lot of fun.
Emily, we found him right away; though, your hair does make pretty good camouflage. That has got to be the best TV ever for the kitties. Thanks for sharing the videos so we could see the gliders in action! Astrid is really getting excited for the big day. She sends Sampy a kiss for every one of those puff balls in the world and all her love. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Hi! We are late today, but I must say so glad we popped in to see your sugar gliders. What fab companions they will be when fully bonded, they are doing so well at the moment. Wonderful selfies, and video too! purrs ERin
A year of bonding? Wow. I had no idea. Go easy on yourself if you get frustrated. In time, they’ll know how much you love them.

We thought we saw a pair of wee eyes on the other side, MOL!
