Thanksgiving Wrap-Up

We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We surely did. We hosted Thanksgiving at our house for the first time — 12 people + 1 dog + 5 cats = CHAOS and FUN! The cats did extremely well, considering the number of people we had at our house, plus the dog. Maggie is my parent’s dog – one of my childhood pets. All of the kitties have been around her multiple times, but Sophie is especially fond of her. Then again, Sophie is fond of and wants to be friends with everyone.

She followed Maggie around everywhere, and whenever Maggie would lay down in her bed, Sophie would try to snuggle up with her. Unfortunately Sophie’s feelings were unrequited. Every time Sophie would try to join Maggie for a cuddle puddle, Maggie would get up…

Sophie has a way of winning over everyone she meets though…

Thankful for sweet moments like this.

We are sad to see all of our houseguests leave, but I think the kitties are happy to have things back to normal. Now it’s time to kick off the Christmas season!!!

Now that was a house-full! We don’t think we’d like a woofie at our house.
