The Talon Scratch Mystery

July 1, 2014 19 Comments

Calling all Furtectives (like detectives, but FURtectives… get it?!)!!! We have another mystery that needs solving in the Kitty Cat Chronicles Household!

Lately we have been noticing these strange markings being left around the house – specifically on the door frames and columns. It appears as though a wild beast has been here, leaving its mark…

Is it friend? Is it foe? It this a warning of some sort?! Who or what could it possibly be?!?!
Picture

Delilah claims to know nothing, but is she masking her guilt behind those “innocent” eyes?
Picture

Whatever IT is, it seems to have Sampson scared. Or is he just pretending?
Picture

Sophie says that she hasn’t seen anything suspicious. Should we believe her?
Picture

Behind that sweet face is there a wild and raucous beast?
Picture

Caster is keeping his lips sealed. Should we take that as a sign of guilt?
Picture

Or perhaps Wolverine has been paying us a visit…
We are turning to all of our furiends for help in solving this mystery. If you’ve heard anything or have any idea who might be leaving us these signs, we ask that you please come forward. We are offering a reward.

As Sampson used to be a Wolverine before switching Patrols at Cat Scouts, we have to put him at the top of our list. Astrid is the only one in our house who can jump high enough to put some on the door frame above the latch, and we know what a good combo those two are. Nose-kisses to Sampson from Astrid. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Check under the claws for paint. 😉
But we’re sure you won’t find any. We think it was the infamous “Not Me.” He’s been at our house too.

Wow, that is quite a mystery! Everyone looks too innocent and cute to be guilty! The only logical conclusion is that Wolverine came to visit your home 🙂

We think maybe a mongoose gotted in your house. Or maybe a big mean tall raccoon. We don’t like the looks of that.

Personally, we think it’s the human female filing her fingernails and letting you guys take the blame.

We think it was the Wolverine but not the former wolverine, Sampson. All of the cats have very sweet and innocent looking faces. We have a very hard time believing that they would do anything naughty. Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S)

Those look aweful big and high for the kitties. Have you had any larger visitors? If not, guess we will go with the wolverine theory because those cute faces just have to be innocent 🙂
