BlogPaws, the Ultimate Adventure
We are back! Wow, what an adventure we had at BlogPaws! We met and got to know so many furiends, learned a lot, and made many unforgettable memories. And Sophie was a rock star! This was her biggest adventure yet, and to be honest, I had my doubts as to how well she would do. Being on a 5 day adventure is a huge leap from her usual 5 hours adventures! Well, I doubted unnecessarily. Sophie exceeded my wildest expectations.
The car ride to Nashville was a little rocky. She cried the entire way, but thankfully she didn’t have any potty accidents. Once we got to the hotel though, she settled in quite nicely. Over the course of the trip, I took Sophie to an educational session, to a couple of cocktail hours, to the Cat Style Lounge in the exhibit hall (where we played for at least an hour), to the hotel lobby for exploration time, outside, to different hotel rooms, and to the Nose-to-Nose dinner and awards ceremony. For all of these adventure, she was either in her sling or on her leash. She also entertained guests in our hotel room a couple of times. She was so well behaved through it all, and she enjoyed every minute (mostly). I’d have to say her favorite part was getting to meet and greet her furiends – she LOVED all of the attention.
I could go on and on about our trip, but I’ll just share a slideshow of some of the highlights instead:
By the end of the trip, Sophie was exhausted. I could tell because she slept peacefully in her carrier the entire ride home.. thank goodness. I was pretty exhausted myself. And I think I was missed…
June 4th is Hug Your Cat Day! Last year we celebrated with a “Hug Your Cat Day” Photo Party. We will be celebrating the same way this year! If you would like to participate in our photo party, please send us a photo of you hugging your cat(s). Then on Hug Your Cat Day, we will post all of the photos we have received. If you have a blog, we will also include a link back to your blog. Please email your photos to email@example.com by Wednesday, June 3rd at 5:00pm EST. Be sure to include your name and your cat’s name, as well as your blog URL if you have one.
Though Sophie and I had an amazing time, it sure does feel good to be home. We are looking forward to next time!
