What Makes Cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia Special | #WobblyWednesday
As you probably know, I could go on and on for days about why cats with cerebellar hypoplasia are so special. Sophie has such a positive attitude, she doesn’t let her “disability” get in the way of anything, she has more determination than any creature I’ve ever known, she is the bravest cat around, she is friend to all, she loves hard, strong, and unconditionally… see, I told you I could go on and on. However, while Sophie is definitely special and unique (as all cats are), these characteristics are not unique to Sophie. For assistance in explaining just what exactly makes CH cats special, I reached out to the Cerebellar Hypoplasia Cats & Kittens Facebook Group. What better way to help fulfill Sophie’s birthday wish! Here is what my fellow CH cat parents had to say about their kitties:
“Alexandra (mild CH) is our cute baby, she is a great “climber”!” –Виктория
“My McDermott is 17 years old and has been with me since he was a kitten. He has taught me so much about many things: tenacity, patience, going with the flow, determination, perseverance and love. He is my buddy, friend, companion and baby. He is indeed one special cat!❤” –Debbie
“This is my wobble baby Dexter, he loves cuddle time (but not as much as I do!!)” –Lucia
“My baby Yuri, who has taught me everything about perseverance, unconditional love, optimism and dignity. Forever in my heart ❤️” –Vanessa
“My CH kitty is the best because for some unknown reason she thinks I am wonderful and she loves me with all her heart. I have never met another creature as sweet and loving as Cucumber.” –Kandylynn
As you can see, CH kitties are just special across the board! I feel truly blessed to have Sophie in my life, as it will forever be changed for the better.
Happy #WobblyWednesday everyone, and don’t forget to flood the interwebs with #WobblyWednesday posts today for Sophie’s birthday wish!
