I think everyone knows by now how much Sophie loves STICK! Just the thought of STICK sends her into a tailspin of excitement. If Bobby or I open a drawer of the table where we keep STICK, Sophie comes running. Heck, if we just walk by the table, she comes running. And she always has this wide-eyed, intense look about her when the possibility of STICK is in the air.
One of her other favorite toys is tunnel. She and her brothers always have a good time playing together in our various tunnels.
The other day, Bobby had the brilliant idea of combining STICK and tunnel into one game. BEST. IDEA. EVER. You can see for yourself what a hit this game was…
Tunnel STICK is now Sophie’s most favoritest game. She is like a bulldozer tearing through that tunnel! And she won’t stop until she catches STICK. You can actually see her “win” a couple of times in the video 🙂
We’ve been playing Tunnel STICK every day for about a week now, and Sophie can’t get enough. We actually have to make her stop because she will get winded and need to catch her breath. I’m pretty sure she would go until reaching the point of literal exhaustion. We also have to try to make sure tunnel stays in the center of the room, or else Sophie might get hurt flinging herself full-force into the furniture.
Never a dull moment with Sophie. Her enthusiastic spirit is contagious, and she is a source of endless entertainment. We have laugh-cried on more than one occasion thanks to her antics 😀
Happy #WobblyWednesday, everyone! Be sure to visit our Facebook page today to meet this week’s featured wobbly kitty! She’s a cutie, and yet another great example of how a cat with cerebellar hypoplasia can live a full and happy life. If you are so inclined, please share our Wobbly Wednesday posts to help us with our Cerebellar Hypoplasia Awareness initiative.
